Rio+20 Ending: Saying Goodbye to All That

The mockery of the official meeting overshadows everything around it. Can we start thinking about what are we paying our 'representatives' for?: http://www.treehugger.com/environmental-policy/criticizing-rio-pus-20-stopped-being-funny-it-is-simply-depressing.html

Common Threads Initiatives...

Common Threads Initiative aims to close the loop on the product life cycle - to make old clothes into new and keep them from ever reaching a landfill or incinerator.
  1. Reduce what you buy.
  2. Repair what you can.
  3. Reuse what you no longer need.
  4. Recycle what's worn out.
  5. Reimagine a sustainable world.

Plastic Bag Ban In L.A on Wednesday.

Los Angeles must have heard about the "plastic bag free Torquay campaign :)" and recently became the largest city in the U.S to approve a ban on plastic bags at supermarket checkout lines, which is huge for everyone supporting the movement to reduce the amount of plastic trash entering the region’s waterways and our ocean. I've been spending a lot of time over here and its heavy how bad the water Quality is especially after it rains! Not fun! Dan
