What more can you ask for as a Pro Surfer than to have a heat with Kelly Slater. Dan Ross our traveling FM ambassador had that privilage yesterday and thrived on the chance. The King prevailed but Dan flew the Fresh Mullet flag and stuck some great power grinds on the Middles lips. Here's a cool photo of "The General" around our parts David "Baddy" Treloar and some old mates of his Randy Rarrick and Peter in New Castle many moons ago. If you see Baddy these days nothing has changed in 40 years of surfing. He's still like a kid in a candy store but a lot bigger and has a tendency to yell to other surfers in the line up about what waves to catch. Thus the nickname the "The General".

If your a professional surfer or an athlete that travels as much as we do. Buying a blender at every stop is worth its weight in gold!

Its the best way to fuel yourself on the run. I usually make a smoothie first thing in the morning or about 2 hrs before a heat.

DR TURBO SMOOTHIE

1 banana
handfull of blue berrys or strawberries

1- 2 organic raw eggs

organic yogurt 

organic rice milk

agave or honey
teaspoon of organic coconut oil

and a taplespoon of  mi-essence berry radical to supercharge it!
