Queensland braces for is 3rd Tropical Cyclone in as many weeks...
This cyclone is twice a large as the largest on record, TC Larry in 2006 and expected to make it as far inland as Mt Isa, some 700kms inland.
The eye of the cyclone is almost 150kms wide which is 5 time larger than TC Larry and winds are expected to be well inexcess of 250kph...
Severe damage and loss of life is inevitable...
