WED 2012, hosted by Brazil, is aimed to be the biggest, most widely celebrated global day for positive action on behalf of the environment.

In support of a smarter and more intelligent way of implementing sustainable development -- one that grows economies but with positive social and environmental outcomes-- this year’s theme is Green Economy: Does it include you?

 The WED 2012 activity drive is a call to action to inspire the most activities ever recorded for WED. This is a big ask considering last year’s Challenge garnered a quadrupling in activity registration!

But the WED Community has proven time and again that we can keep building momentum and that the power of the individual voice is exponential when we are heard as a global chorus.

So to reward the amazing effort of all our committed individuals and groups, five fuel-efficient cars from Kia Motors will be given to winners in 5 categories.
