Tahiti thru the lens of Dan Ross...

A lay has been called at the Billabong Pro in Tahiti for the third consecutive day with contest organisers stalling the competition until the forecast big waves hit the infamous Teahupoo break in the next couple of days...  Which gives DR time to soak up & share the paradise...

What SUP..! Little Grommy on his 6'8x 17 pin tail paddleboard  :)

Chopes from the judges tower
Rock, Scissors Paper - Tahiti Style...
Gas - (Short for i dunno what!) is such a good guy - a full on local , he was telling
me about the land and how they go pig hunting in the mountains behind us here.
He's worked as security for as long as the event has run,
 easy to see why haha.

Water Patrol!
these guys are incredible ski drivers -  flat chat - dodging coral heads-
they know the reef so well!
Busy boys the next few days :)

What a king!
